Introduction To Boating

This is the perfect opportunity for novice boaters to experience the joy of sailing while learning safe practices for preparing to leave the dock, while underway, and when returning to dock. If you've never been boating before, this is the perfect format for you to get you started and explore BC's coastal waters.

Basic Cruising Standard

Liveaboard (5-day, 4-night)

Our Basic Cruising Skills certification will teach you everything you need to know to get started on the water. The focus on this Standard is on the development of basic sailing and seamanship skills as well as the knowledge needed to make the decisions expected of a skipper.

Intermediate Standard

This live-aboard certification follows the Basic Cruising Standard, with a focus on boat propulsion efficiency and balance in various conditions, boat operations and vessel systems, crew management, coastal navigation, and emergency plans.
